The Accursed Thing In Israel

 

 

 

“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and disassembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.

 

Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

 

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, there is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.” – Joshua 7:11-13.

 

 

 

Last week I posted some verses concerning a “country” called “Ai” that begins in verse 2 of that book and chapter: Joshua 7:2-5.  This happened right after Joshua and the tribes of Israel took Jericho.  But they couldn’t take Ai, because Israel had “an accursed thing” in the midst of them.  The first verse of that chapter begins as this:

 

“But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against the children of Israel.” – Joshua 7:1.

 

Because of this, The Lord allowed Ai to prevail over Israel’s troops when Joshua had commanded that they take over Ai.

 

When the Lord told Joshua why this happened, Joshua brought forth all the tribes of Israel that the Lord had mentioned, and man by man sought, then found the “accursed thing” to which Achan had confessed.

 

Would you like to know what that “accursed” thing was?

 

 

 

Babylon

 

When Joshua pulled Achan forth and questioned him, Achan said:

 

“When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.” – Joshua 7:21.

 

“in the earth, in the midst of my tent” – come now, Scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites of the Babylonian Talmud!  Surely you know what this represents!

 

Israel has Babylon in her midst: and that “accursed thing” which was revealed in the prophecies of Daniel, concerning “the Messiah the Prince”; and the “abomination” set “in the house called by my Name” in Jeremiah 7:30: the “abomination of desolation” which Jesus himself askes us to “understand” in Matthew24:15 and Mark 13:14 - IS all about this!

 

God said:  “. . . neither will I be with you anymore, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” In verse 12. 

 

Jesus said the same thing in his parable of the landowner in Mark 12:9:  That “the Lord of the vineyard shall destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others”, after they had killed the heir, his SON.

 

The Lord also said , concerning those that place the abomination in the house called by his name, which is the children of Judah:

 

“Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee” – Jeremiah7:16.

 

After Joshua did what the Lord told him to do, God instructed him to go again up against Ai, to see that the Lord had given them unto the hand of Joshua and his people in chapter 8.

 

“And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it” – Joshua 8:2.

 

This did Joshua do, and in verse 12  it says:

 

“And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.” – Joshua 8:12.

 

(Bethel = house of God/the Lord).

 

The rest of chapter 8 is amazing, if you can discern it.  The ambush worked.  The description of it gives vision to the battle within our substance (the battle of Armageddon): Joshua (Jesus) and his first fruits of the Spirit drew out the men of Ai, lured them out of the city while his ambush behind the city took it and burned it.  When the men who came out of it after Joshua and looked back and saw it was burning, they were slain, and in verse 22 it says:

 

“And the other issued out of the city against them, so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.” – Joshua 8:22.

 

“some on this side, and some on that side” – See Zechariah 5:1-4.

 

The king of Ai, they hung on a tree, then cast his carcase at the entering of the gate of the city and placed a heap of stones upon it. 

 

They were “in the midst of Israel” and it says “some on this side, and some on that side” (how man “sides” does the “substance” with which we are written have? Two. Two anti-parallel, reading up one side as down the other, RNA which make up our four-letter language DNA).  The “Substance” mentioned in Psalm 139:14-16 and Obadiah 1:13-14).

 

Remember in verse 11, the describing of the “disassembling”?

 

“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and disassembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” - Joshua 7:11-13.

 

This reminded me of several songs, one of which is the Bee Gee’s “How Deep Is Your Love”, a spiritual anthem which includes the lyrics “cause we’re living in a world of fools, breaking us down”; and Psychedelic Furs “Love MyWay” lyrics: “they just want to steal us all and take all apart”.

 

It also reminded me of “COVID”, “CRISPR” and the base editing of our DNA by bioengineers. The bookof Obadiah warns them who “lay hands” on the substance of God’s people.

 

The “Covenant” they transgressed is “The Word”, says the Lord to the Jews building the house in Haggai2:5: “the Word that I covenanted with you”.

 

They STOLE.  They “disassembled” as Paul revealed to the Jews in Romans 1:25 and Romans 2:24 and Jude 1:4-8.

 

What witnesses to the fact of Joshua being a prototype of Jesus, is in verses 31 and 32 where Joshua did as Moses commanded the children of Israel. This is concerning the writing of the book of the law on an altar of WHOLE stones, which no man had lifted up any iron, where they offered their offerings.  Verse 32:

 

“And he wrote there upon the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he wrote in the presence of the children of Israel” – Joshua 8:32.

 

Who is it that writes a “copy of the law”?  He who sits upon the throne of his kingdom in Deuteronomy 17:18; and it says “he shall write a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites”.

 

The bearers of the Ark of the Covenant (The Word), are the Levites.  And this is also explained in part, in Ecclesiastes (means “the Preacher”):

 

“For out of prison he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is born in his kingdom becometh poor.

 

I considered all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.” – Ecclesiastes 4:14-15.

 

 

 

The Second Child

 

He who sites on the throne will write a copy of the “Book of the Law” on the “whole stones”, just as it says Joshua did, after Ai was defeated.

 

Who is on the throne, right now?

 

There are seven kings.  Five are fallen; one is, and one is yet to come in Revelation 17:10-11.  Jesus is on the throne, giving this revelation to John, so who is on the throne right now?

 

Christ.

 

Who is “to come” who “is the eighth, and also of the seven” in verse 11? 

 

The answer is in the prophecies of Daniel concerning “the Messiah the Prince”, who’s sanctuary is cast down, and is polluted, for the “overspreading of abominations”, Daniel9:25-27.

 

The same is the man child in Revelation 12 whom the dragon has been seeking to devour since the woman: the “daughter of Zion” (Isaiah 66:7-8) has travailed to bring forth.  He is the “second child that shall stand up in his stead”.

 

Jesus testifies to John of him in the letter he dictates to the churches.  This includes he who is given the morning star [Jesus IS the morning star] in Revelation 2:26-28, and upon whom Jesus writes the name of God, the name of the city of God which is New Jerusalem; and Jesus said he will “write upon him my new name” in Revelation3:12.

 

We know this “second child” or “man child” shall be of the Levites, because he will be the last one to bear the ark of the Covenant.  This is testified to all the way back in Exodus 23:20-21 through Revelation21:16-17.  This is the same angel mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Jude 1:9 and Revelation12:7.

 

This is why “they” were “after him” to begin with.  He was the last one through which they could access the Kingdom and the throne.

 

As we were told through the prophet in Jeremiah:

 

“And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.” – Jeremiah 3:16.

 

Why would the Ark not be “done any more”?

 

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace,

 

And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby” – Ephesians 2:14-16.

 

What is “enmity” in the midst of us but “Armageddon of the Brain”?

The “Ark of the Covenant” will be no more.  This is where the “Book of the Law” of the “Lord your God” was placed.  The New Covenant , which is the same “Word” he covenanted to you, Oh Israel, is in His Blood: just like the Lord told you it would be in Leviticus17:11, and in Deuteronomy  31:26.

 

The “Archangel” and the “Ark of the Covenant serve the same purpose” (Exodus 23:20-21, Hebrews 9:1-7): Protects the pure “Word”.

 

And You tried to “kill” him too.

 

 

 

For The Love Of God

 

As I began writing this article, letting the Lord move me through Joshua’s travail over Ai, I felt something I hadn’t felt since that first day the Word was revealed to me, in the Spirit (before it was revealed in the letter):  And it was strong!

 

I had to stop writing and let what was happening happen.  It may have been similar to what Daniel felt when the angel came to him, revealing to him the predicament of Israel in chapter ten of his Book.  It weakened me, but also was healing.  I definitely felt this is where God wanted me to be.

 

The previous night, I was angry.  Very angry and distraught over the bombing of yet another country; and the gloating of the true aggressors and oppressors and the joy they took in the lie while they took lives.

 

I said some things, and posted some things I am not proud of.  And I justified it within myself, because I wasn’t the one killing people or giving comfort to the enemy over such manipulations.

 

I don’t want to hate, but I was so very close to it, that I had to turn off the computer, and my anger carried over into the next morning.

 

Upon waking, I was back on social media while at the same time thinking, “what am I doing here?”

 

Somehow, even though I was still angry, and knowing the rhetoric was not helping, I saw some things in all of it that I didn’t see before.  Closer to the truth, would be to say I saw “through” them.

 

Donald Trump’s tweets usually bear a second look, so I went back to them.  It was easy: everyone was reposting them.  It’s funny how anger clouds your vision.

 

The contention was that Trump promised no more wars, and here he had already delivered strikes to Yemen and Iran and it hadn’t even been a full six months yet (half an hour/half a time).  He LIED, and was playing the harlot to Netanyahu.  I saw it that way, many others did too.

 

At first, Trump had posted this:

 

Who is WE? (Stuff?)

 

Someone had reposted this with the explanation that Trump wasn’t ‘attacking’ or ‘bombing’ but ‘protecting’ something.

 

Then that gentleman probably ate those words when Trump the next day posted this:
